Dark comedy slasher, Hookman, is in need of a male actor! Please contact in order to receive more information and an audition for the role!

First casting meeting will be held today (5/30) at 6pm in the Green Room (Room K109) if you are interested in dropping by and reading for Sean.

About Hookman:

Driven for attention, millennial and UConn Freshman, Lexi, finds that it may not be the best thing as serial killer, Hookman, has his eyes on her. Lexi quickly learns that her unusual and dangerous circumstances have serious consequences for herself and the people around her as Hookman takes two friends. In this relevant and surprisingly funny slasher, Lexi realizes that growing up doesn’t come so easy when living out a real life horror show.

This production is a part of the 2X4 BASH program, which is geared towards people between the ages of 18-29. This program allows for people within this age to take charge and take responsibility for their respective productions that they are assigned under the mentorship of TWS staff and faculty.

If you ever wanted to learn more about the process of a production and take part of it, your opportunity is here. You can participate in a number of areas (2 minimum) in order to put a production together, whether that be costume construction, stage management, scenic, lights, sound, etc., and put that on your resume.

This program is not exclusive to people majoring in theatre arts, but to those who are genuinely interested in knowing more about the field!
